Several of our gifts to friends this year are going to be homemade. However, I cannot divulge the details here because those gifts have not yet been given so its a surprise.
But I will say this…
I am knitting.
And cutting paper.
Printing home-made labels.
And a little felting.
It’s all good fun and I’m not down to the wire so it’s not stressful.
We’re having Christmas brunch at our house so that will be fun. Laid back and family-like. I made this excellent sausage/egg dish for a brunch last week that will make a repeat appearance for Christmas…
store bought cresent rolls (lay across bottom of 9×13 casserole pan-lightly greased with Pam)
1 lb of breakfast sausage (browned)
2 C Shredded Mozerella
2 C Cheddar
8 eggs (beaten)
Sprinkle sausage over cresent dough
mix cheese and eggs– season with oregano
Spread cheese/egg mixture over sausage & dough.
Bake at 325 for about a half hour.
I’m going to try it with bacon and mushrooms. Mmmmm…mmm…mm..
Andy says he’s going to make his mom’s homemade cinnamon roll recipe.
Sounds good to me. 🙂
