What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas…

Just kidding. Nothing happened in Vegas that can’t be brought back. I had a four day DCE conference. I would like to say that I am on fire (since the theme was “Hearts On Fire”) but… it was kind of disappointing. The good part was to meet some other DCE’s. Quite a few of them are fairly new to ministry. That part was very encouraging and uplifting. However, the programming for the convention was… lacking.

Las Vegas was fun. Casinos and hotels (even cleverly and extravagantly decorated) are still just casinos and hotels. It all starts to look the same. I walked about a million miles a day. The weather was beautiful. I did a little outlet mall shopping. Overall… it was a nice retreat.

We’ll talk about my 6 hour Anchorage layover some other time. 🙂

I’m glad to be back and in the swing of things.

By the way… BLESSED EASTER! Easter here at Zion was PHENOMINAL! We had almost 400 people at one service. The youth group and I worked our tails off serving breakfast. It was an amazing celebration of the resurrection. Praise God!

Andy and I are going to see Sin City tonight. I’m a little nervous. I’ve been wanting to see it for a while… but I’ve read the reviews and I’m afraid it might be a little… too naughty. I’ll let you know.

Tia, don’t be such a prude about Sin City, even Jon went to see it. By the way, Blessed Easter back at you.
