I spent spring break on an island…

Did I mention it was an arctic island, not a tropical island? I just got back on Saturday from Savoonga, AK. It’s not too far from Syberia. It was an amazing trip. My heart is still hurting for the people there, but I am so glad I had the chance to do some ministry there. I had some fantastic opportunities (provided by the Holy Spirit) to speak grace to a few high school kids. It was amazing! God used me in a way I would have never thought possible.

A woman in the village is going to make me a cuspuk. It’s a long cotton shirt with a ruffle at the bottom and a hood that the eskimo people used to wear over their furs to keep them clean. I am SO excited. I just have to send her the fabric. YAY! I also bought a hooded sweatshirt from the school. whoo hoo.

I can’t wait to go back in August!

Easter is coming and I have work to do! Then off to Vegas Sunday night. Sheesh!
